Hi! I am Gemma,

I am a holistic grief counsellor with extensive first hand experience in many forms of grief. After my own long journey through loss and emotional upheaval I have been led to this work, awakening within me a deep understanding of how grief affects the mind and body as a whole.

Drawing on lived experience and professional training, I create a safe and grounded space where clients feel heard, validated and supported. I specialise in helping individuals recognise, process and integrate their emotions so they can move forward with clarity, confidence and a renewed sense of self.

Practising holistically, I utilise techniques such as Root Cause Therapy (RCT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help release unprocessed emotions and trauma stored in the body along with committed action to increase psychological flexibility. My approach is warm, intentional and deeply client centred, with a focus on long term healing and personal transformation.

  • One to one sessions tailored to your personal grief experience. These sessions provide emotional support, guided processing and practical tools for day to day wellbeing.

  • A specialised modality designed to help release unprocessed trauma and limiting beliefs stored in the body. RCT supports deeper emotional healing and can create transformation in a shorter timeframe.

  • Structured multi session packages for clients wanting consistent support and long term change. Packages may include a blend of counselling, RCT and personalised wellbeing strategies.

  • Online and in person offerings designed to help individuals understand their grief, reconnect with themselves and build emotional resilience. Ideal for anyone seeking education and practical tools around holistic grief processing.

  • An action-oriented approach to psychotherapy that stems from traditional behaviour therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. 

    The aim of ACT is to increase psychological flexibility and to encourage being present in the here and now and to act in alignment with your values.
